UK-based online radio Rinse FM has announced its new residents for this summer.
The platform’s new program, Community Radio, introduces over 100 new artists to their lineup of regulars. There’s a strong New York City presence, with names such as Venus X, Kush Jones, Shekdash, MoMA Ready, and Doctor Jeep, added onto its list of presenters. Listeners can also expect shows from Chicago collective Teklife, Hudson Mohawke, DJ Stingray 313, and more.
Rinse FM was founded in September 1994 by Geenus and DJ Slimzee as a pirate radio station operating out of London until June 2010, when it received its broadcast license. It’s recognized for giving early exposure to grime artists and providing a home for dubstep DJs, including Kode9, Skream, and DJ Oneman.
