Ivy Lab is breaking up after 13 years.
Announced via a statement on social media, 2026 will be their last year as a group. While no official reason was given for the split, the statement reads they’re looking ahead to “new adventures.” The duo, made up of Stray and Sabre, will continue making music solo, and their record label, Twenty Twenty London, will remain in business. At the end of January, Ivy Lab will be heading on a months-long farewell tour in cities across the world.
“This journey would have been nothing without the people that fed into the story along the way,” the duo says. “We can’t thank you enough for your part in everything. Every record shop co-sign, nightclub interaction, online signal has meant the world to us.”
Ivy Lab launched as a trio in 2012 and quickly became known for their leftfield take on drum n bass, bass music, and hip-hop. Its third member, Halogenix, left in 2015.
