Chicago’s DJ CHAD, son of DJ Rashad, has just released on Moveltraxx.
Out yesterday, “Get It Evryday” kicks off the London label’s first release of the year. The track, a driving footwork cut, is part of Street Bangers Factory 32, which will be released on January 16th. The compilation also features BIG DOPE P, TRAXMAN, DJ Manny, and a remix from DJ Godfather.
The release marks the start of an ongoing collaboration with Moveltraxx. DJ CHAD will be making his UK debut at 160 Unity, the esteemed footwork-focused party by Tropical Waste, on January 30th in London. He’ll be playing alongside BIG DOPE P, BRAVA, Seb back-to-back CRAIC DAVID, and sohotsospicy back-to-back Mia Moto. You can purchase tickets via Resident Advisor.
DJ CHAD’s Moveltraxx debut comes 16 years after his father first appeared on the label with his recognizable “B Day Sex” remix on January 26, 2010. DJ Rashad tragically passed away on April 26, 2014.
